Patricia Ann Long Heineman (Trish) was found dead at her home on Monday when she didn’t show up for work at Belk. She had heart & breathing problems. Please pray for the family. She had been looking forward to this reunion. She was my sister-in-law & a very good friend.

Pulaski, VA  24301

Dear Classmates:

The planning committee cordially invites you to the 40th Reunion of the Pulaski County High School Class of 1978 on August 17th and 18th.

We are planning to have a Social at the Town of Pulaski Train Station on Friday night, August 17th, from 5 to 7.  BBQ will be provided and BYOB (tailgate time!) followed up by attending the Pulaski Yankees at the beautiful Calfee Park for those who wish to go.  Attendees for the game will have to buy tickets.

On Saturday morning, and early afternoon of August 18, we are working out several fun activities.  Caye Walker-Jones found out she will be out of town during the reunion so we won't be having a Yoga class now.  Lee Chitwood is organizing a tour of the Train Museum and the renovated Pulaski Theater for your enjoyment.  Steve Sutphin & Dale Stephens are organizing a motorcycle ride for those interested.

Anyone that wants can meet for biscuits and bull session at Bojangles, starting at 8:30 or 9 in Saturday so we can send Class if ‘78 motorcyclers off, then go for a walk on NRV trail or at Randolph park, then meet the bikers at Rock House at noon

On Saturday night, the committee has reserved the Draper Mercantile for a dinner, social, and music.  The evening will begin at 6.  A limited amount of beer and wine will be available.  There will also be a cash bar where beer and wine can be purchased.  Their ABC license is just for beer and wine.

Early registration is essential for success of this event.   We need to make a payment to the Merc by July 1, 2018.  Please help us get the word out.  We will be sending this letter out to the email addresses that we have available.  We know that some of the addresses are old so we need your help.  We will also be contacting others by posting on Facebook.  We will also mail or hand deliver others as needed.  If you hear of someone who has not received notification, please let us know, as we want to include everyone that was fortunate enough to be in the Great Class of 1978.

Please fill out the registration form, include payment and return by July 31, 2018.  Please continue to monitor the class website for details and announcements.

All donations are also appreciated to help with start up and mailing expenses.
