David Curtis “Curt” Lovern, 52, of Pulaski, died Monday morning, Aug. 20, 2012, in LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski.

He was born in Pulaski Jan. 25, 1960 and was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Hagy Akers.

Surviving are his wife, Sandy Lovern; father and step-mother, David C. and Diane Lovern; daughter, Jill Lovern; son, David “Dooner” Lovern Jr.; grandchildren, Chelsie and Kelly Taylor and Austin Akers; half-sister, Amanda; three step-sisters; two step-brothers; special aunt, Susie, and special companion, Shaggy.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Max Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visiting will be Friday, from 10 a.m. until the service hour or at any other time at Curt’s home, 1101 Crescent St., Pulaski.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to Stevens Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
