I never had a class with Robin, but I remember seeing her in school. Her brother Rubin used to be my neighbor.

Robin, you were such an encourager and loyal friend. You never pushed yourself on anyone but if one came to you for friendship, you greeted with open arms. That was the bashful side of you. You were a fantastic friend to me and your memory remains in my heart.

I went to grade school with Robin, we used to like to talk about how to cook shortbread or Johnnycakes--she knew how, and I was fascinated by that.
