Cathy Mills (Roop) informed us of Kathy's passing. It really hurts when you find out a long lost friend has passed. It hurts even worse when you go back to your yearbook and see their handwriting in it. It makes you wish you could go back to that moment when their hand was guiding the pen and tell them how much you appreciate their friendship. Kathy was definitely a good soul and will be sorely missed by her friends and family.
Can't add much to Dale's post...except for the sound of Kathy's laugh...her laughter came from the very center of her soul...I saw her a few months before she passed and will always miss and love her dearly!!!
I talked to Kathy's mom and sister at the Lyons reunion the other day. I told them that I remembered Kathy and that she was always so full of life. I also told them about this page and that she was not forgotten. I think it made her mother happy to hear that. I asked her about the nickname some of you probably remember and her face just lit up. She told me who started calling her that. RIP old friend.
