An auto accident claimed Norma's life. I think it was somewhere in Southwestern Virginia...like the Abingdon, Chilhowie, Bristol area. Norma was one of the quietest people I knew. I remember in 2nd grade...Norma brought a picture to school of her family's new brick home. She shared it with the class. The good ol' days of "Show and Tell". I never had a conversation with her until the middle 1980's. I delivered something to her home. Even then she seemed shy with a quiet demeanor. She was a good person.

Norma, you were a very quiet person. Of all the gals I hung out with, I know the least about you. I know you were confident in who you were and didn't need the approval of others and I liked that about you. You were a great listener and kept secrets well. What a rare jewel you were. You remain in my heart.

I knew Norma from our Cosmetology class. I can remember her laughing so hard, but quietly when we would totally abuse our manikins. She had a sweet spirit and we talked often about our faith. We had differing opinions about some things but agreeded on who our Savior is.
