I was at UNC-CH for several years at the Center for Developmental Science and the School of Education. We moved to Penn State two years ago and I am in the College of Education. I teach courses in special education and direct the National Research Center on Rural Education Support. My research focuses on the development and treatment of aggressive behavior, the prevention of bullying and school violence, and the development and evalaution of programs to support students in low-income rural communities.
