Debbie Dalton (Woodson) VIEW PROFILE

Deborah Annette Dalton Woodson, 61 of Isabella, OK, and formerly of Pulaski County, died Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Lewis Gale Hospital – Pulaski.  She was born on January 22, 1960 in Radford, and was the daughter of the late Betty Ruth Boyd Dalton and Charles Otis Dalton.  Deborah had been visiting family and friends in Pulaski, when her death occurred.

She was a graduate of Pulaski County High School where she was a proud cheer leader. She was an information operator for AT&T in Pulaski, and was a former member of the Virginia Defense Force and later gained her CDL license to become owner and operator with her husband Richard.  She later became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked here in Virginia, Oklahoma, and Kansas.  She loved her family, and her cats, which were like her children.  She was an avid collector of rooster decorations, which she displayed in her kitchen to enjoy while making meals for the family.  Her love for family was by far the most important part of her earthly life.  She loved to read, listen to country music, especially Alan Jackson’s Christian Album, and could be found watching NASCAR on any Sunday afternoon.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Woodson of Isabella, OK:  sons; Charles Robert Cantrell of Max Meadows, and John Daniel Cantrell and his fiancé Amanda Buckley: Enid, OK, step-daughter; Christina Michelle Chestnut and her husband Shane of Cushing, OK:  step-son; Marshall Richard Woodson of Enid, OK:  sister; Robin Rutrough and her husband Joe of Floyd:  sisters-in-law; Katherine Williams and her husband Thomas of OK City, OK, and Becky Dalton of Pulaski:  mother-in-law; Wilma Woodson of OK City:  9 grandchildren; Cortney and Lexz Cantrell of Rural Retreat, Ashleigh Miller, Ryan and Ethan Chestnut all of Cushing, OK, Elijah, Jace, Blakely and Brooks Woodson all of Enid, OK:  4 step-grandchildren; Myakayla, Drake, Brett, and Oaklee all of  Enid, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews.
