Jimmie L. Crouse Jr., 57, of Radford, passed away, Friday, September 22, 2017. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at First Missionary Baptist Church New River. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Jimmy will be missed, he was a good friend and classmate. Seen him around the area occasoinally and he would always ask about one or more of our classmates if had seen or talked with any of them.. Sadley he will be missed by all that new him he was a fantastic guy. My prayers are with his Family..

I meet Jimmy at 4-H camp when we were just kids. I've always thought of him as a good friend. It was really sad to hear of his passing. RIP my friend.

Since I've moved back to the area, I've ran into Jimmie's momma several times. Yesterday, it was at the gas station at Walmart. She gave me a tip on what lottery tickets were hitting. I bought them, but haven't scratched any off yet. Everytime I see her, she's smiling. Her smile makes my heart smile big, just like Jimmie's did. Fo those of you who did not attend Riverlawn Elementary, Jimmie's mom was our Mrs. Crouse. I am not sure of her title at the school. I just remembering her telling me to wait until I was in the bathroom in the back of the room befoe I pulled my dress up. LoL I also know she was there to make things right when someone was picking a fight and ready to hug when someone was sad. Ive got pictures of her now that I'll try to post later.
