MICHAEL DEON BUFORD
RADFORD — Michael Deon Buford age 49 of Radford, VA departed this life on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008 at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. He was born Dec. 27, 1958 in New Haven, CT. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Radford, VA He was employed by Goodyear Tire Company, Radford. He attended Pulaski County Public Schools.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Joyce Ann Buford of Radford; stepdaughter, Nicky Hendricks-Holman, Long Island, NY; daughter, Niketa Deshea Buford, Radford; granddaughter and grandson, Makala and Gavin Holman, Long Island, NY; parents, John and Irene Hendricks, Pulaski; three sisters, Sharon Lewis, Tracy Hendricks of Pulaski and Shannon Carter of New River; two brothers, Clarence Carter, Jr., NC and Perry Carter, NJ. Special friend, Vonda Bruce, Pulaski and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and many friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Rock Road, Radford, VA with Reverend Eric T. Ramey officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 8 from 12 noon until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Virginia.
