I just want to wish everyone a happy and safe Holiday Season.  Man how time flies since my age has increased (no I am not going to call us old), seems like days go by in the same amount of time an hour does.  Anyway--Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a wonderfully Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has had a great new year so far.  If you know any classmates that haven't signed up here, please help get them on board!  Keep me posted on any news involving classmates or feel free to post an Announcement on your own.  This is your site so let's have fun with it!

Since we've hit 50 and some 50+, I notice a lot more postings with references to age.   But Class of 78, fear not.  If you move north, we have had one heck of a winter with no end in sight.  So cryogenic preservation to preserve our fading youth is available north of the Mason-Dixon line.   I live in the Pocono's on a mountain top and have an available guest room.   First come, first serve to fresh mountain air and slowing the aging process. However, I make no claims about protection from gravity- it's still wreaking havoc!

Greetings to all !!!

I haven't been on this site in quite some time. Anita Head wrote a Happy Birthday to me which prompted me to write a note.  Yes, as Kathy Spicer, James Rupe, Yvonne and several others have mentioned, we all are officially over 50.  Personally, when I hit 49, my mind told my body that it was going to make me go through several changes and you know what?...... my mind wasn't whistlin' 'Dixie !'  So, at the 35th reunion in a couple of years, I'd like to request that the AC be turned to a nice cool temperature, prune juice be added to the bar mixers and that more fiber and probiotic yogurt dishes be added to our treats table.....

Hugs and Prayers and continued blessings to all,

    Brenda (Bubbles) Riggle Haymore

Hi, Classmates. It seems that time moves so swiftly, but it's actually our memory becomes more compacted, more tightly incremented. Ex. A tape measure that's graduated in 1/2s, 1/4s, 1/32s, 1/64s,etc.. Most of our memories are now in 52nds. if you will. Therefore, twenty years seem as but a short time now. At age 18, it was more than a lifetime. Love to all, Larry

Thirty-four years ! Over 10% of us have passed on that we know of. Some that haven't been accounted for or haven't joined the "78" web site could have gone on as well.  I'm thankful to be living, but I haven't earned or deserve that right. I've been through unimaginable stress for several years now. If I was an average person I'd be insane. I was already halfway there so I've been able to cope. Mercy... pray

Hello Classmates,  I wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  I might be over 50 but I can't wait until our reunion next year to party again with everyone!  Give me a yell if you need any help with planning or anything at all.  Also the class of 83 is looking to have their 30 year reunion during homecoming next year.

Peace out-
